This time he talks about the Silver Wedding of my sister, the wife of the brother of my husband. Last Sunday he celebrated (with a few days in advance) the 25 th anniversary and on this occasion I have suggested to us the favors .... Said / done!
Obviously it took its time ... but luckily my sister in law, even if you are a beginner with decoupage, has been a valuable collaborator.
For favors, the bride chose cov of 15 cm high and then I thought about how to achieve them. Not bad right? For the implementation we used subjects with decoupage paper printed on both sides. We chose the rose and assembled according to the size with more or less leaves or buds, trying not to make too much of the composition, we glued on glass.
with two tones of rice paper, white and ivory, we divided the cov in two parts in the direction of the diagonal, and we covered the entire surface of the back. A nice coat of varnish to protect the work completed on the back.
the front with silver glitter in the dark I followed the same division of the rice paper, of course without passing on the pink), and then with the dough similpiombo I followed the contours of the image.
The interior of the roses we have glittered with more glitter, pale rose above the green leaves that took the light green tint.
A small silver bow completed everything.

The cov was placed inside a box of cream, a beautiful bouquet of mauve-colored confetti shoe door, and some silver ribbon closed the box.
To my sister is like having a nice plaque to remember their names and the event, e the center of the drum ... ..
With the same procedure we made this dish, but replacing the ivory paper with rice paper blue to highlight the good work of customization. Pasta with a silver glitter in a tube I made the writing and then we placed at the center of the basket.
The picture of the basket does not do justice to the work .... but it was all very nice and fine ..... At least we loved it ..... what do you think?
